Shop re-location

Like an amazing flea circus or one of those men selling stolen pocket-watches from the inside of a black cape, we ran into our shop yesterday morning, packed everything up, and relocated to a much nicer space before anyone could blink an eye.

Our new home is now Lot 448, (the basement, oooooh) Camden Stables, Chalk Farm Road.

So we didn't really move that far, but our new shop is slightly bigger, less flooded, and is next to an awesome cafe decked out in reclaimed vintage furniture, lampshades, pictures covering every inch of their walls. And the irresistible aroma of coffee and sandwiches being made.

Post me something lovely.....

Always a dreamer and hapless romantic, I have a thing for old-fashioned letters and pretty postcards sent to loved one's from far far away. We stocked up the London Shopette (Lot 405, Camden Stables Market for anyone interested!) with new yummy stock, including hundreds of delightful girly postcards.

I've listed a few sets of four postcards, thematically grouped: Dolly Girls, Gorgeous Redheads, Flirty Coquettes, and Romantic Dreamers.

Up in my etsy shop now!

Go on, send a gorgeous girl you know a sweet postcard...

Shop Update

With the little Shopette in London open for a few days now, all our energies have been directed at getting it nice and stocked up, filled with beautiful art. So far we have a selection of canvas prints, framed artworks, originals, postcards, stickers and magnets, as well as a budding line of necklaces and pendants - all featuring my illustrations.

But that's no fun if you're not in London, huh? I got the bulk amount of canvas prints on offer up in my ETSY shop too - so go and take a peep if there's something you like! For all my followers, if there's a particular illustration of mine you'd like as a print, but don't see it in the shop, send me a convo through etsy and I'd be happy to print special requests :-) That's my little treat for you!

Now I think I've managed to keep prices pretty low for Christmas, but for every order of more than two prints I'll add little treats and presents. Sound yummy? Go on, take a look!

Originals Available

With my Solo Show slowly creeping closer, I’m mentally beginning the selection process of which pieces to exhibit. Some of the original paintings I have created that will not find their way to the walls of the Eszterház Palace are now available for purchase through my Etsy Store, to make their way to your own walls!

Unframed watercolours as well as the decadently framed “Baroque Portraits” (that were exhibited at the Zichy Palace) are available for purchase here

If you have any private questions, do not hesitate to contact me via an Etsy “convo”, or zip me an email:  monimano at hotmail dot com

The Schism and a New Year

The schism, the rift, the renting apart... I finally did it, I tore my etsy account in two.

I'm now ever so thrilled to unveil my charming official etsy shop:

This will be the new home for my original artworks. All the little coquette's I've been introducing to you, and a few of the lovely ladies from my 'of lace and moss' series will reside there, awaiting adoption.

My other account is still up, but it's not nearly as gorgeous as the new one! I'll be prettying it up with flowery things, lacey things, and quirky things shortly though. I'll be sure to make an ostentatious announcement once it's shining and glittering
 ~♥~

In other news I am working on a top secret project... so I might not be posting any new drawings for a little while. I won't be posting any preview shots, nor do I have any new original artworks that I've bought from others to introduce anymore.. so I apologise for a possibly very quiet upcomming two months.

My new years resolution basically hovers around "more art". Work on lots of new drawings, push myself further,  try to finish all barely begun and half finished projects, begin new projects (and finish them!) and maybe even purchase some new originals from other artists I admire too :-)

Here's to 2010, I have a very positive feeling about this year, I think it will be amazing!
